comb their hair. Somehow
I lost track and switched
on channel 880 a little late

they made a binocular for Rishma
with two styrofoam cups
glued together

when I picked her up late
at 6:30 PM. Rishma kept it
in the living room sofa
and forgot where she had left
it and asked me in Tulu

While Rishma does not have an arsenal of words
in her vocabulary, she does not penny-pinch
for words anymore but what she says sometimes
is funny and makes little sense. Above are a few
of Rishma's dialects at 4 years.
